Storm Likely to Form in SW Gulf of Mexico – Will Threaten Mexico and Possibly Southern Texas

Posted by Levi at 11:34pm on September 11, 2013

There appear to be some quirks with how the mouse and annotations rendered in the video, probably due to my new computer. I’ll try to work those out next time.

If you are having trouble viewing the embedded video below, try the direct Youtube link.

CTRL + “+” to zoom your browser window and make it appear larger relative to the rest of the screen.

    • Levi says:

Yeah, I’ll try to make the setup such that the window can be smaller. I’m used to my laptop where the full screen isn’t overwhelmingly large, so I could get away with it before!

Living in S,Texas here,I can tell you it is quite a bit different then when the other systems went into Mexico. Its been raining off and on for 6 days now.The ridge here is not that strong compared to what it was a week or month ago.Something may come up the coast as you say. Thanks for the update..

Very nice video Levi. Even though you have school chores, you still manage to pump out some great tidbits for us. Much thanks!

    Great blog Levi,

How did you like your summer job in Norman and the lower 48 summer weather?

  • J. D. says:

Texas needs a storm in the worst way. Is there any chance this will turn north and bring rain to our parched state. We have been losing 100 year old pecan trees on our place in the Brazos River bottoms for 3-4 years. PLEASE LORD BRING US A STORM

    • Levi says:

I think extreme south Texas will at least get rain from the system. You can hope that future Ingrid moves slow, because the longer it takes to come ashore, the farther north it will ultimately move, bringing additional rain into Texas.
