Thanks, Levi, you are the BEST! Your analysis of tropical weather is the best I have heard anywhere. Been following you for years and telling others about your forecasting ability!

Hi Levi – Thanks for sharing your insights! I’ve been following you since last year and find your analysis to be very thorough, objective and avoids the hype factor; very much appreciated.

Levi – What has happened to the ICON model on Tropical Tidbits? It hasn’t updated since August 14th. Have tried to get that question answered for days.

  • HugeDong says:

It’s been too quiet down here in S. FL. Time to spice things up a little.

What does this uptick in inactivity mean regarding the earlier Colorado State/NHS forecasts. A below average season was predicted. Is this recent activity still in line with that prediction? Or is this a change in conditions not in line with that forecast? What about the predicted increase in El Nino to suppress hurricane activity? Is this still happening and why are we seeing more activity if so? Will El Nino form soon to suppress activity maybe in Sept or Oct?

  • Shelley says:

    Thanks, Levi 🙂

    Thank you!
