I always learn new things listening to you, Levi. Thank you so much!

The local met in New Orleans is saying Barry is moving like a snail over warm waters, it’s moisting up, and the shear is lessening. It will strengthen before landfall at 11 AM Central Time.

Thank you for your work on these videos! I moved to New Orleans from the Northeast less than 2 weeks ago. Having your videos as an objective source to understand what is going on is a much needed break from the mix of media and local opinions which have varied from “the entire city will be under 20 feet of water” to “it’ll be wet and windy, nothing to worry about”. One local told me, only listen to NOAA. Unfortunately, I don’t fully understand what they’re saying. Enter, tropical tidbits!

Thank you SO much for these updates, which are a much-needed and welcome respite from local news coverage during this storm. So very glad I stumbled upon this site. Please, keep up the good work! Again, thanks!

You called it Levi!!! Nuff said

  • David says:

This storm is SO BORING, not doing anything the weather people said it was going to do. Total yawn-fest!

Thanks for maintaining objectivity and rational, scientific analysis! That, not crying “WOLF” for every storm, is what helps us make sound decisions and stay safe. God bless you and that dry shear from the NNE!
