So thankful to you Levi! Very complex situation and you explained it very clearly.
yeah Trop storm imelda was 10% a day and a half before landfall and look what it did to texas…. the clowns on TWC were saying in regards to imelda and i quote “this system is not going to do anything, its a minimal threat, do not worry about it”. when systems actually are a minimal threat TWC blows it completely out of the spectrum and acts like a week cat 1 is a cat 5, even lying about wind speeds to make everyone extra cautious and on edge to limit casualties. going as far as the reporters ACTING like they are being blown by 100mph gusts when its only 40mph. this is why i do my own forecasting on sites like these.

Bingo! Agree 100%! TWC is the most pathetic of forecasters and should not be trusted as far as you can throw her! Karen does seem to even have Levi somewhat puzzled, but seems to me that he is leaning toward a no-land impact for the USA, which would just about put us at the end of the Hurricane season.
Yeah I think once we can get past Karen us North Carolinians will be in the clear. Dorian was a bell ringer but not nearly as bad as some of the others.
