    I have a question, is it possible for both lobes/foci of an elliptical wave like this to both develop into cyclones which then orbit (Fujiwhara effect) each other?

      It’s unlikely when they are so close together like this. Even in actual Fujiwara cases, if two TCs were this close, one would merge into the other instead of staying separate.
