Man.. I sure hope the people over in Central America have evacuated

  • Joe says:

Love your videos, but … somehow your new way of communication is horrible. It sounds like you are in a tunnel, fading in and out. I hope that is just temporary.

  • John says:

I sure hope it dies out over the mountainous areas of Nicaragua and Honduras and nothing to speak of comes back out to sea.

    • Qwerty says:

Unfortunately, even if it does dissipate, something WILL eventually appear in the Gulf of Honduras. Let’s just hope it doesn’t become anything serious.

  • Qwerty says:

It looks like Eta is finally beginning to weaken!

    • Anonymous says:

Well, I think that could be due to an eyewall replacement cycle that is taking place right. It is pretty obvious on satellite.

      • Qwerty says:

Yes, I am almost certain that is the case. The storm is weaker now, but it’s going to grow, which is pretty bad. Good thing it’s about to make landfall!

  • I enjoy and appreciate your talent, level of knowledge and the way you present your analysis. Respectfully I use your site and information as another tool in my tool box to assist with decision making and how to present status reports. Thank you for all you do! Keep up the good work.

  • Jim Schmitz says:

Do the models take into account the very tall mountains that Eta will encounter as it moves through Nicaragua and Honduras? It seems as if it ll be difficult for much of the storm to survive that as it will also be moving so slowly and causing catastrophic consequences.

    • John says:

I’m hoping and praying it stays over the mountains enough to lose all organization and any remnants just stay remnants, whether they go back in the Caribbean or emerge west into the Pacific (as the Euro Models show).

  • Qwerty says:

The storm has made landfall now! Expecting rapid weakening to occur soon.

  • presidentofyes12 says:

kinda looks like there’s a blob-like feature to the northeast of eta
