It looks like a decent surf storm for North Carolina that doesn’t hit land. Good.
As for the MJO forecast, it’s unreliable. The MJO forecasts have been very poor this year at even a week out. I suspect that a forecast 300 hours out has no skill at all.
I hope that you are able to get out and enjoy the surf now that you live in Florida. Thanks for the model pages. They’re very good for seeing northern hemispheric wave patterns.
Hi Levi, it’s pronounced MAYaguana not MYaguana LOL.
Just speaking as a Bahamian. :)
My bad – you can tell I’ve never had a vacation in the Bahamas :)
noticed the 12Z GFS has a decent system forecasted to come off Africa in a few days
crazy season is upon us :-)
Hopefully, Levi, you will send it out to sea away from the NE Caribbean islands :)
Yay! I’ve bookmarked you so I can listen to your analysis on the next one, which will probably be here next week! :)
