Levi can you please give us an update? Were worried about the high River in New Orleans with all the rain coming.

  • This storm lost its organization, but is bringing lots of heavy rain to the Southern U.S.. Very concerned about flash flooding as it’s already ongoing.

Hello everyone, This did become a rainmaker for us in Tampa Bay region of Florida. We had been in a terrible dry spell, with the hottest weather I can remember for May. When this area moved over us we have had a series of severe thunderstorms roll thru day after day.

It has had a tropical feel to it too. We lost power at my house for 5+ hours and had to fire up the battery backup inverter and the propane generator, so a good test of preparedness.

Keep up the great work on tropicaltidbits 🙂
    Thanks,
    Jamie
